Fans of The Simpsons have been claiming that an episode from 1998 called "Simpson Tide" predicted the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The episode follows Homer Simpson joining the US Navy and accidentally firing a sub-captain out of a vessel into Russian waters during a military exercise.014 The showrunner, Al Jean, has responded to the claims, saying that the episode was not hard to predict.
