so we're going to start off and talk to you about our latest Adventure on the road uh we took a snowbird trip up to New Jersey and that's why we're wearing the glasses that's what we're wearing our glasses and not dressed like we normally dress um because we're in our vacation attire okay um so we're gonna start off um by telling you we went up to Jersey we made a bunch of stops along the way right took a lot of notes met a lot of nice people um and then drove back down did the same thing and here we are to document for you we had a really nice time and that's why we want to share it with you guys yep so this one's gonna be a little more laid back a little more casual than normal not so formal so uh we're gonna start off on day one um day one we took off and we were Bound for San Augustine um on the way to San Augustine we stopped at Buc ee's yes tell them about Buc ee's okay Buc ee's is a let me see a rest stop on steroids um I believe they hold a Guinness book of world's records one of their locations is the largest convenience store um we had to check it out and I'm going to tell you if you haven't been to a Buc ee's get yourself to a Buc ee's um I've I've never seen so much stuff move food wise um ever I mean we walked in and they had this large table and the young man was cutting up meat turns out to be chopped brisket but in Mass quantity and they put on a show too they put on a show somebody makes an announcement they all yell something we can't figure it out um but they're all having fun but they're all having fun but anyway so we grabbed uh two two brisket sandwiches to take with us to um our room because we figured we're gonna have dinner in the room so we made our way to um our first stop which was in San Agustin yes we stayed at the Roadway Inn located at 3101 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Saint Augustine Florida right it was very very good location very clean very nice um and great location I think quiet quiet I think we were like what like five minutes or ten minutes right from the downtown historic St Augustine right I mean it was like two turns we were there oh yeah so it's a super location great rates and um I highly recommend it um so anyway um we went to sleep woke up and the next day we decided to check out historic St Augustine um we went into the visitor center we checked out the visitor center they have um a nice history of the city it's like uh it's on a column and you go around it it tells you from inception from when the settlers went there the names of the settlers and the townspeople and everything and it gives you a lot of detail and backgrounds into who moved there when and what they were doing there and how many times the city was burned it was incredible goodness it's incredible goodness they're so resilient but um anyway so from there we decided to walk around a little bit and we went down like one or two streets and um I think we started to get hungry and that's going to lead us to our first dining Adventure
