Conversations with my friend Archie, who hails from Armenia, are always interesting because of huge differences in our takes on Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, both of whom I admire, but whom Archie regards as arch-demons who are in the hands of the globalists, which I deny. So we began talking about the situation in Ukraine, where Ukrainian soldiers are surrendering under white flags and being taken into custody rather than being ground up and spit out by Russian artillery, where Russia has already won and it would be impossible for Ukraine to prevail. We turned to domestic politics where the testimony of Devon Archer contradicts what Joe Biden has previously claimed--and where the situation looks very grim for the Democrats approaching 2024. If they seem unperturbed, it can only be on the basis of their expectation that they can steal the election of 2024 just as they did those of 2020 and of 2022. Jonathan Turley suggested Biden might "break the glass" to pardon Hunter and withdraw from competing for a second term, but events at Martha's Vineyard may have complicated their plans, which I take to have been to nominate CA Governor Gavin Newsom with Michelle Obama as his running mate. She would face a real grilling over her sex and the death of their chef, which is a huge story that is not going away any time soon.
