The Talk Show - Live Review The Lego Batman Movie

The Lego Batman Movie was the top of the Box office this weekend. Was there any doubt? The first thing you would think is that this is strictly for kids. Right? Right? Wrong!! this movie had the kid friendly visuals but the jokes are all adult especially those of us who grew up on comics especially Batman and it playfully makes fun of everything from Batman and Robin's relationship, the DC vs Marvel cinematic rivalry, and the Batman/Superman dynamic.
The music a mix of original songs and songs from the 80’s got kids interested and kept parents smiling throughout the film. As always Warner Bros. Animation does not disappoint and even when they are making fun of their live action films they show why for animation they are the king of the hill when it comes to superheroes.
I give The Lego Batman Movie 4.5 out of 5 while it was great there were moments it failed to keep my attention and even a few minor moments that my 7 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson were almost asleep but it recovered quickly.
