MY WIFE EXPECTS TOO MUCH! / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: If a husband is the breadwinner of his family, should he have to do stuff when he gets home from his job? I work between 50-65 hours per week. Sometimes a little more. I work a hard job both mentally and physically in the health care business. When I come home from work, my wife often has a to-do list for me. Some pastors I have talked to said that I shouldn’t be expected to lift a finger with house chores since I work a lot at my job. Also, I want to lay down shortly after I get home because work makes me tired. My wife doesn’t need to work outside the home because I make enough. That is what some would consider a traditional wife. So because of this, some say that if my wife doesn’t work outside of the home, that she is expected to do everything in the house before I get home from work. What are your thoughts on that? What advice would you have for me from a Biblical perspective?

Today's Scripture:
Ephesians 5:25
