Time Lapse Of 3D Printing Video Game Accessories

Over the last 2 years or so, I've really gotten involved in 3D printing. My first printer, an ANET ET4, really had some weaknesses, but it taught me a lot of things. From there, I picked up an Ender 3 Max, a larger printer that unlocked a number of additional features for me, and then all bets were off. I picked up a Monoprice Joule (Ender 3V2 clone) and Voxel (rebadged Flashforge Adventurer), an Ender 3 V2 Neo, an Ender 3 Max Neo, and more recently I have dip my toes into the world of Bambu Labs printers. Namely about a month ago I got a P1P, and just yesterday I got a P1S.

One of the cool things about the Bambu Labs printers is the fact that it captures onboard time lapse videos So you can witness your creation essentially coming out of nothingness. The beautiful thing about this too is there is literally nothing you need to do to make this happen. At most, there's a check mark when you send a file from your computer to the printer, that's it. The rest of it happens automatically.

Unlike the P1P and P1S's larger brother the X1 Carbon, you can only access time lapse videos by removing the SD card from the units. This is something that I wish Bambu Labs would improve in the future. If I could download these videos right to my computer for editing I would absolutely love it. Or better yet, be able to stream them. Unfortunately, the P1P's camera is like 15 seconds of frame versus 15 frames a second, so watching it live is pretty painful. Watching the time lapse, however, it's pretty cool.

Have you ever seen something being 3D printed? If there was something you could design and 3D print what would it be? We've done a lot of different things, different light boxes, video game storage, items for around the house, and we of course have our 3D printed online store. We're looking to expand our offerings very soon, and we also love printing out custom signage for events such as the Midwest Gaming Classic, Southeast Game Exchange, Video Game Summit, and soon, the Utah Retro Game Swap.
