The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Colin Murphy, an events planning business owner.
In the last 22 years, the business grew, building relationships with clients who sponsored yearly music and sporting events. They are planned up to 8 months in advance, and it was difficult to make decisions about future events with the possibility of lockdowns. Colin contacted several government agencies and his MLP but got no clear answers back.
The year 2020 was a complete loss, and the employees and the contractors were let go. The following year, there were limited events.
The Calgary Stampede opening up in just 2 wks during lockdowns was a wake-up call.
He says there must be decentralized decision-making and better mitigation on businesses if interruptions occur. This government vilified its own citizens, and he doesn't trust the government and is deeply concerned for his grandchildren. What kind of Canada will they live in the future?

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
