What Are My MUST-HAVE Features For the Nintendo Switch 2?

There have been many rumors of a successor to the wildly popular Nintendo Switch. Some of those rumors have seen the light of day, just as other systems. The Nintendo Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch OLED were all rumored at one point to be the unicorn that is the Nintendo Switch 2 or Switch Pro. But other rumors have come out recently that point to a 2024 release of a new piece of hardware from Nintendo. With that being said, what are the 3 must-have features for the Nintendo Switch 2 in my book?

4K & 1080P
I think this is going to be at the top of most people's wish list but I think 4K docked and 1080P in handheld need to be a thing. Nintendo has traditionally underpowered the outputs of their systems, and the fact that 4K isn't an option on the Switch OLED is pretty unforgivable. Even at release not having 4K was an odd choice, but then again HDMI wasn't even a thing for Nintendo until the Wii U!

Larger Display
Getting old sucks, and one thing I have noticed as I am getting closer to 50 is that my eyesight is going. That being said I need a larger display to be able to enjoy handheld mode. For me even the Switch OLED's display is a bit too small, and I just need a larger display. Having a Switch Pro Lite and a Switch Pro might even be a good option, where the Lite would be smaller but still dockable and the pro would have a larger display.

Backward Compatibility
As popular as the Switch has been, having backward compatibility is kind of a must. And I am not just talking about the cartridges. eShop purchases and controllers also need to work forward with the new Switch. Nintendo did this with the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Wii, and Wii U, and they need to do it with the Switch Pro or Switch 2 or whatever they call it.
