In this excerpt from Ep. 3 " Democratic Capitalism: Profit or Plunder? " I review America's guilded age, and industrial revolution. Everyday American citizens began to see a substantial increase of their wages, food prices decreased rapidly, and the job markets began to open widely as all sorts of new opportunities awaited them. Now some bad actors made out like bandits, these so called "robber barons". But the wake of this revolution led to America being such an economic powerhouse, and beacon for migrants globally.
