The permanent secretary in the ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives Geradine Ssali has pronounced her position on the alleged irregularities in procurement as being investigated by the Parliament’s committee on trade and tourism.
Ssali is behind the claims of misuse of about 10.8 billion supplementary budget which was meant to rent offices for the trade ministry and purchase vehicles for the respective heads at the ministry.
It is alleged that about 400 million was used to transport documents from Farmers house in Kampala to Entebbe.
