Perspective : A tool in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop that allows you to set a perspective grid for drawing three-dimensional objects with proper perspective.

Pica / Picas : A typesetting measurement, used for printing and layout design. Equals 1/6th of an inch.

Pixel : Short for picture element. Generally the smallest dot made by a computer, scanner, or other digital device.

PNG : Stands for Portable Network Graphics. It's a low-resolution file type meant to maintain clarity and transparency, without jagged edges.

Points : Part of the Gestalt Principles, a point has become a measurement system used in graphic design.

Preferences : A menu used to adjust how a program will operate to your specifications.

Preset Manager : A tool used to load, organize, and save all of your custom content, preset for brushes, swatches, gradients, styles, patterns, contours, custom shapes, and even tool settings.

Preview : A glimpse at how the final design will look without rules, and other design program presets present.

Primary Colors : Any group of colors from which all other colors are made by mixing. For example, Red, Green, and Blue.

PSD file format : The file format used to save all layers, channel settings, and other Photoshop details.
