Turmeric and ginger. An ancient duo that contributes to the functioning of the immune system, with highly effective properties for health. Turmeric and ginger are spices traditionally used in Indian medicine, now known as Ayurveda. They have thermogenic characteristics and are widely used in diets and detox for physical and healthy fitness. Ginger has an almost peppery and slightly sweet taste and has a strong and spicy aroma. In ginger, we find carbohydrates and essential oils: gingerols, zingiberene, phalandrene, camphene, cineol, broneol, and citral, the gingerol is found in greater abundance among its components. For this reason, ginger is widely used in teas, shots, and detox juices, not forgetting oriental dishes, soups, salads, and pasta. On the other hand, turmeric, also known as turmeric, has a spicy taste and a pleasant aroma, being a highly energetic food. It has been studied for its bioactive actions and more than 2,000 years its therapeutic use has been very common in Ayurvedic medicine, for its potentially therapeutic properties.
