Here's a step-by-step guide on how to upload files in a forum on Moodle:
1. Log in to your Moodle account and navigate to the specific course where the forum is located.
2. In the Course sections, look for the forum in which you want to upload files.
3. Click on the forum name to open it. You will be redirected to the page with the forum discussion threads.
4. To start a new discussion thread with an attached file, click Add a new discussion topic, or if you want to reply to an existing thread, open the discussion and click Reply.
5. Write your message or response in the text box provided. Below or above the text editor, you'll typically find the option to add attachments.
6. To add an attachment, click Attach or Add (the text may vary based on your Moodle version). A new window will pop up.
7. In the new window, select Upload a file and then click Choose File to browse your computer for the file you wish to upload.
8. After choosing the file, click Upload this file. Depending on your version of Moodle, you may need to then select Select this file or Insert this file. The file will then be attached to your forum post.
