World Famous CHAMPARAN MEAT CURRY aka Ahuna | Handi Meat - Story, recipe & tasting | Dil_seart

Curry is a popular dish in many cuisines, including Indian, Pakistani, and Southeast Asian. It typically involves cooking a mix of vegetables or meats in a spicy and aromatic sauce, which is often made with a blend of herbs and spices.

In Indian cuisine, curry is known as "Ahuna" or "Handi" depending on the region and can be made with a variety of ingredients such as chicken, lamb, fish, vegetables, or paneer (Indian cottage cheese).

Here's a basic recipe for chicken curry or "Ahuna":

Ingredients:

500g boneless chicken pieces, cut into bite-size chunks
1 large onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Salt, to taste
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup water
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and fry until it turns golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add chicken pieces and mix well, making sure each piece is coated with the spice mixture.
Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the sauce has thickened.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
You can customize this recipe by adding your favorite vegetables or using a different protein source. You can also adjust the amount of spices and chili powder to suit your taste preferences.
