Carmelo Anthony is "No Longer Useful" to the Knicks, According to Phil Jackson, Loyalty Questioned
NBA baller Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Knicks in 2011 after starting his career with the Nuggets back in 2003 as the 3rd overall pick in the draft. Since being drafted, Melo has become a 9-time NBA all-star, an NBA scoring champion and most importantly a dad. The past few days their has been a lot of talk of Carmelo possibly leaving the New York Knicks to play elsewhere after Phil Jackson wrote a column critiquing Melo saying “ Carmelo Anthony has outlived his usefulness in New York”. Now although Jackson may feel this way there isn’t much he can do about it, Anthony currently has a no trade clause in his contract and would have to agree to any deal made. With all this going on Melo decided to close out all the nose and talk and just talk some basketball with his favorite person, his son Kyian. Kyian has shown he’s a little all star in the making with the help of his coach dad. Earlier this season the 9 year old was getting in some practice after the Knicks practice.
