The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Sunny Petersen, a tour operator in the North West Terretories. She begins by describing the economic stress the lockdowns and mandates caused her business. There was complete loss of income for the year 2020 and half of 2021. Sunny talks about the email correspondence to the NWT's minister of health and other agencies looking for answers. She asked why testing wasn't allowed like in other countries and why they won't consider the remote camp location. Not to mention, the tour expeditions are one client to one guide. Clients were flown in and came via the Yukon, not coming through the Terretories. There were no proper answers to any of her questions.
Sunny believes the government response to the COVID-19 pandemic cost more lives through the lockdowns, and many NWT's doctors agree with her.
The financial hardships and bankruptcies are astronomical in Canada. "We just don't know how much it tanked the economy" she says.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
