Kamen Rider 1971 is a Japanese tokusatsu drama and the first installment in the Kamen Rider Series. Created by manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori, it aired from April 3, 1971, to February 10, 1973, on Mainichi Broadcasting System and NET TV (now TV Asahi). With 98 episodes, it is the longest entry of the franchise to date.03 The series follows college student Takeshi Hongo and his quest to defeat the Shocker organization, a Japanese neo-nazi group that transformed him into a cyborg warrior.
