Here’s how to edit this viral outfit transition from Instagram on your phone using the free CapCut App.
LETS GO!

𝗔𝗣𝗣: 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗰𝘂𝘁

𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 ⤵️
𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 1:
Record yourself twice walking across the street towards the camera in two different outfits.
(Try to follow the same path both times. This is so the cut lines up well)

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 2: simply walk in front of your camera. ( from left to right)

𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 ⤵️
𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 1:
Inside of 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗰𝘂𝘁, make a split right where you’ll like your walk to begin and delete the clip in the back.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 2:
Make another split right when you’re in the middle of the street (in the first outfit)

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 3:
Scrub through to the the second outfit when you’re again in the middle of the road, make a split and delete the piece in the back

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 4:
Scrub to where you’d like your video to end, and make a split.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 5:
Scrub again right when you start to walk pass the camera, make a split and delete the piece in the back.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 6:
Then scrub again towards the end of the video right after you walk out of frame, make a split and delete the little piece in the front.

At this point you’re left three video clips on your timeline. One for you walking in each outfit and the last piece for you walking across the camera.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 7:
On the third clip ( where you walk across the screen) Tap on OVERLAY (to drop it below) then drag it back right under the split above.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 8:
Still on the piece we just dropped below tap on CUTOUT then REMOVE BACKGROUND and export your video.
