Abandoned kittens and cats even denied WATER and FOOD!

The kittens and cats that are abandoned at dumps here are even denied the basics of WATER AND FOOD by their persecutors. The water, and sometimes even food, that is left for them by us, and occasionally by other people at certain places, is variously moved, disturbed, thrown away, poured out, etc. It is not enough that these unfortunate creatures are thrown away without being weaned sometimes, etc, and in places where they do not have a hope of medium to long term survival, but they are deliberately and maliciously denied even the basics of water and food - even when provided by some other people!

For my part, this is not 'street feeding'. Our purpose is:

1. When having difficulty trying to catch a particular kitten or cat: To keep them in that place; to try to stop them eating rubbish (and poison) in the meantime and get them some nutritious food; to get them more relaxed with me or a trap until they are caught.

2. Sometimes there are 'irregular' strays, 6 months and older (they never become feral here - but are generally fearful of humans), who are relatively healthy but come and go, sometimes you see them, and then maybe not again for WEEKS - its just to let them have nice food for a change if they are not a cat that can hunt. We will try to treat them for worms, scabies, etc 'in the field' if at all possible and they need it.

3. The couple of places where kittens and dumped regularly and I know will have new arrivals whether we like it or not - at least there is something there already for them in the first few hours until found - especially water in the dry season!

There is not much to be said about how evil such a people could be - except to mention some of the various Islamic evidences putting the glaringly obvious lie to their ridiculous and laughable claims to be Muslim. Unlike here, where almost all think these issues are minor or not even an issue at all(!) - the treatment of animals is an issue of major reward or major punishment for Muslims:

It is reported by Ibn Umar RA: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A woman was punished due to a cat she had imprisoned until it died, so she entered the Hellfire. She did not give it food or water while it was imprisoned, nor did she set it free to eat vermin of the earth.”Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3482, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2242

It was reported by Aby Hurraira RA: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “A prostitute had once been forgiven. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Thirst had nearly killed him, so she took off her sock, tied it to her veil, and drew up some water. Allah forgave her for that.” Sahih Bukhari Hadith 3321.

Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) stated, “Verily, there is heavenly reward for every act of kindness done to a living animal“. {Sahih Muslim,Kitab as-Salam}

"Fear Allah in your treatment of animals." [Abu Dawood]

And one last thing which contributes immensely to the excess of unwanted kittens - the buying of selling of kittens, cats (and dogs - except REAL hunting dogs) which is absolutely forbidden in Islam. But once again, being the defiantly disobedient, is customarily ignored by people here, unlike the majority of Muslims the world over!
