North Korea shows off nuclear-capable missiles and new drones at parade

Kim Jong Un displayed North Korea’s new attack drones and nuclear-capable missiles on Thursday, as part of a military parade in Pyongyang. The parade, held to mark the end of the Korean War, featured the Hwasong-17 and Hwasong-18 intercontinental ballistic missiles and a flyover by new attack and spy drones, according to the country’s state news agency KCNA.

Delegations from Russia and China were also in attendance, the first foreign dignitaries in Pyongyang since the pandemic, and KCNA reports that talks were held on the current ‘regional and international security environment.’
