Trump lawyer request home consultation rights

Former President Donald Trump's lawyers have requested to discuss classified information with him at his homes, according to a new court filing from the justice department. Federal prosecutors say the proposal is out of line with how sensitive information should be handled, adding that the details should only be discussed inside a specially protected room. The former president is charged with illegally retaining 32 documents related to the national defense as well as trying to obstruct federal investigators as they sought to get the records back into the government's control.Trump has pleaded not guilty.
