A woman in China has hustled her way into become a new home owner.
Or so we thought!

The BBC reported that a Chinese blogger Xiaoli convinced twenty different boyfriends to purchase her an Iphone 7 which she was secretly planning on collecting and selling.

The BBC reports that it’s a tough buyer’s market for houses in China. So guess girly decided to get crafty!

The story went viral on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, where its been reported a hashtag that translates to “20 mobiles for a house” has been used 13 million times.

Some others weren't so friendly in their assessment of Xiaoli's endeavor, calling her "shameful."

But Buzzfeed has reported an update on the story that the Chinese heroine's story might have been fabricated. We'll never know! But I do know that I need to get more dudes to buy me iPhones!
