1 graham cracker pie crust
3 oz box strawberry Jello
8 oz Cool Whip thawed
1 cup ice water
⅔ cup boiling water
2 cups sliced strawberries
Prep: Start by washing, de-stemming and slicing the strawberries into thin slices. Set aside for later use.
Jello: Heat the ⅔ cup of water toa boil. You can do this in the microwave, it should only take 1-2 minutes for this small amount of water. In a large bowl, dissolve the Jello in the boiling water. Add the ice water and mix together.
Combine: Fold the Cool Whip into the Jello mixture. Proceed whisk ingredients to stir the mixture well, until smooth and combined.
Chill: Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust. Place the sliced strawberries on top. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until set. Slice,serve and add a dollop of whipped cream if desired!
