EXTENDING GOD’S “EXTRA GRACE” TO OTHERS
Titus 3:4-6 New King James Version
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS IN CHRIST!!!
This morning’s scripture really got me to thinking about how badly I need to extend that same love, compassion, and grace to others. I want to be willing to set aside my preconceived notions, assumptions, and biases about someone, and be willing to extend the same grace that God has lavished and abounded on me to them. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional have been really convicting my heart, and I'd like to share them with you today. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to you through them too.
When have you judged others for requiring extra grace?
I'd like to share some things that God showed me today from His Word, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will help you see how important it is to extend God's grace, that extra grace to others, even those we don't like very much. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn how with God's help, you can show that extra grace to others! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will challenge you to show that extra grace, even when it's the hardest to do so.
In what area of your life do you require grace today?
I pray tonight, that if you are struggling in how to show “extra grace” to someone, ask God to first and foremost forgive you of your judgmental attitude, and also for gossiping about them. If you've been gossiping about them, stop it now! Learn to submit to God every day, moment by moment during your lifelong journey, and allow the Holy Spirit to work to change your character, so that you can reflect the character of Christ. Yes, it's very true that every believer does require extra grace. However we can also be grateful for the fact that God's grace is truly sufficient for us as II Corinthians 12:9 states, and to paraphrase an old saying, we're not perfect, we're just forgiven.
UNTIL FRIDAY EVERYONE:
HAVE A SWEET, TRANQUIL, AND BEAUTIFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
