"BLOOD RED" TROUT FISHING!

I found this unique creek while exploring new water one day. I immediately loved how interesting it was and thought it would be cool to do a video about the creek. I had no idea that once I committed to this idea it would take me 3 fishing trips and hours of editing to accomplish... but here we are.

In this video I fished a creek that is tannic in nature, which means the water is black, red, and yellow because it runs through an abnormal amount of pine needles and other decaying leaf material. Think of it like you grabbed a cup of water and added a tea bag... after a while that water begins to change colors. This really isn't any different than that and creates a very unique fishing opportunity. I ended up catching several Brook Trout on the fly and one rather large one for the area. Fly fishing can be tough but also extremely rewarding in these circumstances. I hope you enjoy the video and this unique area of the US.
