Beyond the Dungeon - Tips for High-Level Campaign Success

Dungeon crawls aren't the same at level 10 as they are at say, level 5. Combat becomes much more swingy, and it becomes harder for the DM to effectively balance encounters with any semblance of accuracy.

What to do?

Move the party out of the dungeons and into the world of political intrigue, commerce, war, and the Outer Planes. Change the dynamics of what makes one powerful.
