Clobber Verse Redux

Oh the irony that revilers will lump homosexuals into a category of those not inheriting the Kingdom of God when they are on the same list! It's handy having a preferred scapegoat! Sit tight whilst I unpack one of the "clobber verses" used to indict homosexuals. But what does "not inheriting the Kingdom of God" mean? The reviling fundamentalist would default offenders into hell. Maybe it takes someone walking in the stuff! Knowing our rights as sons of God transcend all the categories! So don't mind if I take my heritage as an open show and even with a swish. We just can't play these evangelical games of who's in and who's out anymore! We either have dominion on the earth or we don't! Not inheriting that has nothing to do with anyone going to hell!

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor REVILERS, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God" - 1 Corinthians 6:9&10 NASB.

"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love" - Colossians 1:13 NKJV.

"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." - Romans 8:19 KJV.

"Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" - Romans 8:21 KJV.

"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren" - Romans 8:29 KJV.
