EARTH's SHAPE: Navy Tracking Systems, 2 inch Pencil Beams and Elevation Drop (ED)

Share. Subscribe. 2 inch pencil beams are the most narrow tracking beams there are in the navy. And, can reach between 75-125 miles out to scan and detect adversary or friendly ocean vessels. They scan the surface parallel to that of the ocean 1-200 or so feet above water. Never in the water, for that would absorb the beams energy. The Earth has NO ED (Elevation Drop). In other words; the Earth is flat surfaced. NOT... curved.
