1 Thessalonians 5:6-8 New King James Version
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be [a]sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST!!!

Let me ask you this question from this morning's devotional my friends, and I pray that you were able to answer this honestly to yourself, but most of all to God.

In times of ordeal, are you more likely to ask for help or try and face the problem alone?

I'll admit guys, that I have a tendency to try to face the problem alone, because I'm stubborn. I don't want to ask for help, because it's a sign of weakness, and I’m also afraid that people will look at me funny if I ask for help. It's something that I am learning too, with God's help, overcome, and I pray that this is the same for you too. I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning's passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you right now, and i pray that what I share with you will encourage you to have that “castaway faith” when you are facing times of difficulty, and I pray that you will not be afraid to be there for others who are facing those same “hard times” too. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn how to have that “castaway faith” to face times of difficulty and hardship well! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I'd like to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will be an encouragement to you, to show that encouragement to those who are struggling.

What “castaway” do you know who needs encouragement?

My prayer for everyone reading this, is that if you’re going through “hard times” and feel that no one is there for you, look to the One the understands everything that you’re experiencing, because He’s experienced it too, but also don't be afraid to ask for help! Do what Peter says in scripture about using the abilities that God has given you, to look after your fellow believers, as well as those who are lost, so that they will see Christ Jesus in you. Remember, my friends, that in times of trial, difficulty, and yes “hard times”, “castaway faith” is badly needed, and when we start showing this, by praying and working in solidarity, God will bring us through!

SO, UNTIL THURSDAY:

HAVE AN ABUNDANTLY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
