Be Filled with the Holy Spirit, Part I

Dearly Beloved,

Repentance and remission of sins is offered to the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who believe the gospel become new creature in Christ, no longer slaves to sin and death and called to higher life in Christ. This is salvation through faith in Christ Jesus and it is the work of grace.

This new life is consummated by God putting His Spirit in believers and by Him we share in the death of Jesus, putting to death the human nature and its lust and we share in the resurrection of the Lord through which we are made alive unto God.

This is not all! God also empower us to live this new life in Christ and be an effective witness for the Lord and His work on the earth. The beginning of the presence of His power is being filled with His Spirit.

This lesson is about being filled with God's Spirit.
