Alex Lowry dropped to Rangers B team as Ibrox future hangs in the balance

Alex Lowry has been dropped to the Rangers B team for the most recent pre-season game with his future at the club up in the air, according to Football Scotland.

Writing on their website (22 July), the news outlet report that the highly-rated youngster travelled with the reserves to Leicester City’s training ground for a clash with OH Leuven rather than with the first-team to play against Hamburg.

But that could point to the player heading away from the first-team picture at Ibrox this summer, with a loan move to Holland already mooted for the talented midfielder.
