Tottenham arrive in Singapore after match cancellation in Bangkok

Tottenham Hotspur arrived in Singapore in the early morning of Monday, hours after their pre-season friendly against Leicester City was cancelled due to inclement weather in Bangkok.

The two sides were set to face off in Thailand on Sunday afternoon local time, as they stepped up their preparations for the upcoming season. However, heavy rain flooded the pitch ahead of kick-off, forcing organisers into a late decision to cancel the match.

Spurs will take on local side Lion City Sailors on 26th July at the National stadium after Italian outfit AS Roma pulled out following a dispute with the local promoters.
