9-year-old boy killed

A man and teen are in police custody after a nine-year-old boy was shot and killed Monday evening on Milwaukee's northwest side. The Milwaukee Fire Department confirmed the boy was shot in the face near 76th and Mill around 8:45 p.m. He was declared dead at the scene. Milwaukee police say a 42-year-old Milwaukee man and a 14-year-old boy were taken into custody. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
