The Fabulous Honeys "are an eighteen-piece big band, playing classic tunes from the swing era and arrangements of more contemporary tunes. Our repertoire includes songs made famous by the giants of jazz; including Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong. Swing music is great to dance to, and we frequently fill the floor at our gigs. We typically offer a balanced set, mixing in a few slower tunes to give the dancers a rest between songs. We also offer some funk and blues, to spice things up a little. We are a friendly, welcoming band and are eager to welcome new players of all ages who enjoy swing, jazz and big band era music.
