Thalidomide Scandal: A Reflection of Morals in the Pharmaceutical Industry?

Scandals in the pharmaceutical industry are not uncommon and are about as old as the industry itself. The facts range from the concealment of side effects to the sale of toxic or even lethal drugs.
It has also long been proven that pharmaceutical lobbyists exert influence on regulatory authorities, doctors and patients in order to maximise their profits.

One of the most shocking and well-known incidents is the so-called thalidomide scandal from 1961. The pharmaceutical company Chemie Grünenthal brought the sleeping pill and sedative thalidomide onto the market from 1957. It was advertised as “absolutely safe” and “well tolerated”. However, thalidomide was severely damaging to the foetus! According to estimates, about 100,000 children died prenatally, thousands were born severely handicapped. This scandal is an example of how much suffering a supposedly “absolutely safe” pharmaceutical product can cause.

Is the Covid vaccination the next global scandal on the horizon?

Apart from the exponential increase in deaths in connection with the Covid vaccination – Kla.TV reported – no one knows what the long-term consequences could be, because the vaccines have simply not yet been researched in this regard.

In the following, we show you, with the kind permission of the Austrian educational channel AUF1, a good four-minute documentary on the thalidomide scandal. It brings hair-raising facts to light. See for yourself.
