Brazil Score STUNNING Team Goal at Women's World Cup as Beatriz Zaneratto Slots Home after Backheel

Brazil began their bid to win a first Women's World Cup in jaw-dropping fashion after scoring a sublime third goal in their 4-0 victory against Panama.

After initially struggling to find their stride in their Group F opener, Pia Sundhage's heavyweights burst into life in the second half and netted after a breathtaking move.

Within three minutes of the restart, Kerolin and Debinha combined sharply, allowing time and space for the latter to bend an inviting delivery toward Ary Borges.

Borges, who had scored both first-half goals and looked poised to seal her hat-trick, then unselfishly laid off for Bia Zaneretto to fire into the roof of the net.

With their opponents having been sliced open, Brazil's samba style shone through.

Indeed, Borges later scored a third goal to take home the match ball on 70 minutes.

Again, Brazil worked the ball down the left, with Borges meeting Geyse's cross and steering a neat, stooping header through the legs of goalkeeper Yenith Bailey.

There was even time for all-time great Marta to be introduced, marking her first appearance at her sixth World Cup, for the final 15 minutes of the one-sided affair.

At the final whistle, the world's eighth-ranked team had secured their biggest opening win at a Women's World Cup since 2007 and moved two points clear.

And unsurprisingly, the manner of the third goal left viewers stunned.

'What a stunning team goal,' one user said on Twitter.

Another simply posted: 'Utterly sublime.'

A third added: 'A treat to watch!'

'This goal is incredible,' a fourth user wrote.

A fifth, meanwhile, described the flowing move and goal as 'art'.
