Stephen Clements reviews the Dungeons & Dragons Basic edition 1st level adventure module, The Jade Hare. Game designer John Nephew wrote a simple and fun dungeon crawl that coached new Dungeon Masters through the quest to retrieve a village's stolen priceless artifact and taught players the value of scouting ahead to avoid being completely murdered. The publication history of this module raised some eyebrows, and the writer's future work proved to be an eye-popping journey for me to research. I have a great time telling you about it all, so come listen to this thing.
