The Untersberg is known for its mystical aura and numerous stories about secret tunnels and access points to the Inner Earth. There are accounts of people claiming to have entered another world in these tunnels. These tales have reinforced the myth of Untersberg as a gateway to the Inner Earth.

Thalus of Athos is a legendary figure often mentioned in connection with the Hollow Earth. He is described as a kind of messenger of the Inner Earth, said to have come from Agartha. Thalus of Athos is mentioned in some esoteric writings and conspiracy theories, but there is no sufficient evidence for his existence.
