Starting drinking at 14, Barrymore survived the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and was married four different times. Gaining critical accolades and the love of Mary Astor, Evelyn Nesbit, Dolores Costello and Orson Welles and Errol Flynn, Barrymore was an American legend.
