Silent Song

SILENT SONG

Angles of light, angels in the night
Guiding my solitary flight
Between the lines of the poet’s verse
The mathematics of the universe
Where God is one is unity is truth
And the book of love the proof

The blind man of faith following silent song
The lame man of science still thinking, limping along

A stitch in time saves nine
And a cat only got nine lives
And nine is the number of heaven
Where the cycle ends and the cycle begins

The dumb got a thousand stories to tell
The wise remember every time they fell

So, it’s true, I can’t tell you the truth
I can only direct you to the infinite proof
Feel your way through the valley of darkness
Into the light in all its vastness

The blind man of faith following silent song
The lame man of science still thinking, limping along
And they never reach the end or beginning, it seems
Though death be certain, as well, the birth of a dream
