On 1918 celebrations in Prague as the Hapsburg, reign ends. Reel 1, crowds tear down Austrian street signs, cheer Czech troops returning from the Italian Army, greet provisional cabinet members (Klofoc, Habrman, et al.), and cheer the poet Machar and Premier Kramar. The cabinet meets in Prague and on Zoffin Island. Reel 2, Pres. Masaryk greets crowds in small Czech towns as his train proceeds toward Prague. Italian Gen. Piccloni welcomes Masaryk outside Prague. Masaryk, his family, and the poet Machar ride in a procession through - Prague.
