Valorant Mobile Update at VCT Philippines?

Recently inquirer had an interview with the Riot Executives, So they talked to Whalen Rozelle, Chief Operating Officer, Esports at Riot Games and Anna. Donlon, Senior Vice President, Executive Producer for VALORANT and there are two big things talked about. First is the Valorant International Events in the Philippines. Do you guys know whats are the big Valorant Events?

After talking about VCT Tokyo, the inquirer asked if VALORANT fans in the Philippines can expect a big international event soon? The simple answer is: There are a lot of players in the Philippines, yeah. I think anything is possible. So VCT Philippines confirmed?

2nd is about Valorant Mobile. Basically, Inquirer is asking about any update on Valorant Mobile. Here are the key points of their reply. First, they acknowledge that fans want some update, however, they are actually being cautious about giving an update the main reason is players might want to know the release date. In short expectations cant be managed. However, they gave some small updates which is for the benefit of the game. Our main focus right now is on making sure that we’re making the right game that feels really good on mobile.

We won’t launch the game on mobile unless it feels amazing on mobile. They also mentioned that has been challenging but fun and I feel like we’re making really great progress right now. So when can we expect any updates? According to the execs, the next biggest update on [VALORANT mobile] will be when we’re actually ready to talk about if it’s going to come out and when it will come out. So until then no great updates and that it has to be a good game first and foremost. To end it they mentioned that the game is absolutely being designed to be a competitive shooter on mobile. That is the goal, which is why it’s hard to make.
