Kahakapao Loop Trail

Hiking the Kahakapao Loop Trail in Maui, Hawaii proved to be an incredible escape from the typical beach and tourist activities associated with the region. This 6.6-mile loop, boasting approximately 1000 feet of elevation gain, provided a refreshing respite from the heat as I ventured through the tranquil rainforest on a beautifully maintained pathway. Although the trail is also used by mountain bikers, their presence is relatively sparse, allowing for moments of seclusion during various segments of the hike.
