Suicide / Assisted Suicide

In general, the American church doesn't walk in power. The moving of the Holy Spirit is hindered because we don't routinely practice healing and deliverance (the casting out of demons).
By routinely practicing healing and deliverance, we LEARN how to be led by the Holy Spirit. If we don't routinely practice them, we aren't utilizing the power and authority we have over demons and our bodies.
Exactly what does this mean? It means someone who is suicidal, or is feeling pushed to do something else terrible, feels hopeless. They want to look to God for help, but they see a church that has a form of godliness, but doesn't walk in power. Therefore, Christianity becomes just another religion. An idea that hints of truth, but can't be proven. There might be something there, but nothing that can really help someone who is on the verge of self-harm.
