Back to Back Peeks at the New Cycle: Solar Storm Forecast 11-18-2018

Space Weather may be quiet right now, but the Sun has some exciting news! Not only has it shot several mini-solar storms at Earth, but it has given us two new peeks at the coming solar cycle 25! A short-lived solar cycle 25 sunspot appeared momentarily back on November 9 and then another appeared on November 17 and started growing. Although this region might not last long, it is definitely visible as a plage region so get a look while you have the chance. Even if they are momentary, these back-to-back regions are the strongest sign yet that solar cycle 25 is coming!
