Weaponizing the Weather: Hurricanes and Manipulation - Conspiracy or Real?

As we find ourselves in mid-July, hurricane season has begun on the Atlantic coast. For those living in that region, you're well aware of the impending risks. However, I can say, truthfully, that I'm really glad I no longer live there, and I don't have to worry about it anymore.

But here's the new situation: just days ago, the weather company and atmospheric G2 released an update predicting a staggering 20 big storms this year. Out of these, they expect ten to transform into hurricanes, and of those, they warn that five are likely to reach at least category three status. Sadly, this is well above the average, which means there's a higher chance of a severe hurricane wreaking havoc somewhere. I hope it's not in your area, but if it does happen, experts may point to factors like El Nino or record warm ocean temperatures, attributing these events to natural causes.

However, there's another theory on the table, one that questions whether weather manipulation is involved. Weather manipulation is a real thing and has been going on for a long time, often at the hands of our very own government. One of the earliest instances occurred in 1947 with "Project Cirrus." Back then, well-intentioned scientists working for the government attempted to weaken hurricanes. They conducted a test on a hurricane that was far out at sea, thinking it was safe to do so. They boarded a plane, flew to the eye of the storm, and dumped dry ice into it. However, instead of weakening, the hurricane turned around and headed back to shore, making landfall in Georgia and causing millions of dollars in damages.

This is just one example. There are others, like cloud seeding experiments in South Dakota that transformed harmless cumulus clouds into raging thunderstorms within minutes. Another striking incident was the use of cloud seeding weapons in Vietnam during "Operation Popeye" in 1963. This operation aimed to alter natural rainfall patterns and stands as the first confirmed weaponized use of meteorological warfare in history.

These experiments continued over the years. In 2007, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a page addressing various ideas for tropical cyclone manipulation, building on "Project Storm Fury." One of the papers they published was titled "How to Stop a Hurricane," exploring various concepts. Some of these ideas included using lasers to discharge lightning in storms, pouring liquid nitrogen onto the sea to deprive hurricanes of heat energy, and creating soot to absorb sunlight and change air temperature, causing convection currents in the outer walls of hurricanes.

Weather manipulation hasn't stopped there; it's still in vogue today, only now it's often presented under the guise of saving the planet. One notable example is the appearance of offshore wind turbines along the eastern coast of the United States. These turbines are justified in the name of generating natural energy and reducing the power of oncoming hurricanes before they make landfall. However, concerns arise as scores of marine mammals like whales and dolphins are washing ashore and dying in droves. Greenpeace, often vocal about environmental issues, seems curiously silent about these deaths.

Beyond the United States, other governments are engaging in weather manipulation. For instance, during the Beijing Olympics, China confidently assured the world that they could control the weather, guaranteeing that the games would not be hampered by adverse conditions. China even has a government office dedicated to weather modification called the Beijing Weather Modification Office. They claim to have a weather program covering over 2 million square miles, an area bigger than all of India. Similarly, the European Union (EU) invested over 1 billion dollars in five geo-engineering projects in March of a particular year.

All these efforts boil down to one goal: control. The weather race is on, and weather seems to be the most potent force on our planet. It surpasses guns, tanks, governments, computers, and even artificial intelligence. Controlling the weather means controlling the food, and controlling the food means controlling the people. Ultimately, if one can control the weather, they can control the world.

However, we must remember that meddling with Mother Nature comes with risks. It has a history of disastrous consequences. Rogue scientists or nations may push the limits too far and break the rules, leading to catastrophic outcomes. We have seen this pattern before.
