Some interesting studies showing a correlation between glute weakness and lower back issues. This doesn’t mean that weak glutes will ALWAYS be the cause. However, doing this test is a good place to start. It isn’t an easy one, so don’t be hard on yourself if you fail. BUT, if you do fail the test, and you tend to have a lot of tension in your lower back, incorporating some glute strengthening is probably a good idea!
