These are thorny plants that pop up every year after the rains that end up on my dogs paws or under my bare feet at some point in the house or yard. These plants are dangerous to have in the yard and really have no place if you ride bikes, have pets or even children and like to not wear shoes. I go around the yard and pull each one of these plants out one at a time and this is a method I use, and it’s been the easiest way to eradicate this species from the yard. It works every time we actually haven’t had any of these plants be an issue for the last two years because I went through and plucked every single one out however, it’s difficult to get every little seed, but this is the best way to do it one by one pull each plant out and then you put it in the trashcan and get it out of the yard or you put it in your fire pit and you burn it the only way I know pesticides don’t really work 100% removal works every time.
