If you are struggling a lot with the basket pattern and want something basic that will do the trick without the hassle, make the pattern below instead!
BASIC BASKET PATTERN:
ch3
R1 9dc in 3rd ch from hook, join to top of ch3 (10st)
R2 ch2, 2dc 9x's, dc in same st as ch2, join to top of ch2 (20st)
R3-5 ch2, dc 19x's, join to top of ch2 (20st)
R6 ch1, rsc 20x's, cut & tie
Make straps: Ch 35, cut & tie to the basket, repeat for the second strap.
