Parents at a California school district will now receive notifications if their child wishes to use a different pronoun, name, or bathroom at school. The Chino Valley Unified approved this transgender notification policy in a 4-1 vote during a heated school board meeting last night. While considered a win for parental rights, it has faced opposition from the California superintendent of public instruction. Chino Valley School Board President, Sonja Shaw, who voted to approve the policy, joins OAN's Alicia Summers to discuss the matter.
